Introduction:
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Chairs of Excellence has been established at CLAWS to conduct research in the fields of Global, Regional, National Security, Military Affairs, Defence Technology and Management. The COAS Chairs of Excellence would be held by one “Distinguished/Senior Fellow”. “Distinguished/Senior” would be an honorary designation bestowed upon an individual who has consistently demonstrated excellence in research pertaining to strategic studies. Fellowship will be awarded for an initial period of one year.
Eligibility
The Chairs of Excellence will be open to all Retired Army Officers with expertise in the fields of Global, Regional, National Security, Military Affairs and Defence Technology and Management.
